This is my WiP list; frequent visitors will notice that I've removed some of the stories that were here before. No, I haven't finished them, just given them a humane death via the delete key.

The lovely Smaragd has given me some advice - she suggested that I set a system of rewards for myself, so that I can make some progress on my writing. Therefore, I have imposed upon myself the following: I can get myself a season of Due South tapes for each story that I finish. (I really want those tapes!!!) So, this means that I will be finishing some stories.

This page was last updated 03 May 2001.

I'm desperately trying to figure out why kamikaze pilots wore helmets.

Dave Edison

ST: Deep Space Nine

Untitled Post-WYLB/ASIT story; G/f, B/f, G/B; rated NC-17:  Hmmm....how to explain this one?  G & B exchange letters after ASIT; B decides that he wants to be with G, dumps Ezri and goes to Cardassia without telling G that he's coming.  In the meantime, G has found Palandine...much angst ensues.

Terra Nova; G/B; not rated yet:  A follow-up to "Middle Ground" -- Julian has gone to Cardassia, but can he make Garak see that he's serious?

Fear; G/B; rated NC-17: This story is in a re-write; I'm expanding on the past relationship between Garak and Bashir.  The gist of the story thus far is this: after the events in "The Sound of Her Voice," Bashir decides that he needs to commit to an actual relationship with Garak, before it's too late to do so.  The question is, does Garak want the same thing?

Sleepwalking; G/B; rated NC-17: This story, from Garak's POV, is killing me! I've been writing it for a l-o-n-g time now, and it's the fic that just won't be written! Garak is having intense dreams, but are they only dreams, or something more?  The "Tea for Two" mailing list has read the first half of this; when this gets finished depends on Julian's subconscious. What I can tell you is this: I've written the final scene, and have it on good authority that it's hot enough to light up the screen.

The Scarlet Thing In You; G/B, S/G; rated NC-17: Dark and nasty, this little gem wraps itself around the sixth season episode "In The Pale Moonlight."  The blame for this idea lies with Jen Chapman - she's the one who got me thinking about the possibility of Garak and Sisko engaging in more than underhanded tactics to bring the Romulans into the Dominion War.

Wanna Fuck? (working title); G/B; rated NC-17: Based on the idea of Bashir propositioning Garak in plain terms, this one also can be traced to Jen...while chatting on the phone one night, we outlined about a third of the story; I'm thisclosetobeingdone with this one.

Jen's Realistic Mary Sue Challenge; Me, Jen, and the DS9 cast; NR: A while back Jen challenged us to write a realistic MS; it's been forever, but my policy is that if it's still on the hard drive, it might get finished...

Talk Dirty to Me; G/B; rated NC-17: *Bangs head into keyboard* awfljahdgoqeruihyftg   Trying to meet one of the SFOP Challenges ...it's not working though, 'cos I just don't think that Julian has it in him to talk dirty to ANYONE, let alone the Master of Words.

Untitled AU; G/B; rated NC-17: This is a collaborative effort with an author that wishes to remain nameless [for now].  Cardassians are in charge in this universe, and everyone serves under them.  When Garak rescues Julian from a death sentence, he unwittingly makes an enemy, and loses his heart.

The Sentinel

Untitled; B/m, J/m (implied), J/B; rated NC-17: Mysti Frank started this on the Zine Farr list, and I just couldn't resist.  A 'what-if' story that has Blair and Jim taking a different path than the one chosen in "The Sentinel by Blair Sandburg"; sorry folks, this one goes to Mysti for a 'zine - check back for more details at a later date.

What the Maid Saw, Mid-Air Collisions, One Way Mirror, others; J/B; R to NC-17: More of the series of voyeurism stories that started with "The Taxi Driver's Tale."

What A Difference A Day Can Make; J/B; rated NC-17: Blair ramblings on the unexpected event of sex with Jim - basically an extended PWP.

Concertina; J/B, Connor/Rafe, Simon; rated R:  I like music, and while not exactly a songfic, this piece is heavily influenced by the song 'Concertina' off  the Tori Amos album "to venus and back"

The Prisoner; J/B; rated NC-17:  Another one influenced by music, this time a Howard Jones song. Not quite songfic, this is an AU where Jim is JJ Ellison, a famous photographer who is hired to document the field research of Dr. Blair Sandburg, an anthropologist.  Their work takes them to South America, and it's there that the fun starts...

China; J/B; not rated yet:  Okay - this one is songfic - I admit it.  Our boys have drifted apart since Blair became Jim's 'official' partner...this uses a Tori Amos song from the album "Little Earthquakes."

The Truth About Sentinels and Guides; J/B/Rafe, J/B; rated R:  This is not what it looks like!!!  Instead, this is what happens when I fixate on a movie, in this case, "The Truth About Cats and Dogs."

Cassie's Last Hurrah; J/B/C, J/B; rated NC-17:  *No, she doesn't die.*  After the events of "Mirror Image," Cassie decides to start fresh in a new city, and since she, Jim and Blair aren't co-workers, they decide it's okay to fraternize just this once.  Yes, this does have m/m/f in it, but it does end with just Jim and Blair in a relationship.

Waste; J/B, J/f, B/m; rated NC-17: I admit it - I'm a music junkie, and it looks like this is shaping up to be another song-fic.  Have you heard "Waste" by Smashmouth?  No?  You don't know what you're missing!   This song set me off with the lyrics:

I'm mopping up the floor from messy recipes of romance.
I'm packing up the pots, too many cooks in the kitchen.
Some may say I love to let a good thing go to waste...
I let it go to waste.

This piece is turning out to be a bit of a downer, but I'm hoping that the plot faeries will leave me a happy ending...

Crossovers

*Cracker/The Sentinel*

Untitled; J/B, B/m; rated NC-17 (graphic violence, rape/nc, extreme hurt/delayed comfort, bdsm-ish):  First off, when I say "Cracker," I mean the US version, with Robert Pastorelli.  On Jim and Blair's first official case, a bizarre string of murders nearly culminates in Blair's death. This story is extremely thorny, and probably not for the faint of heart.  This story will be novella length when finished (it's already at 65 pages.)

*Quantum Leap/The Sentinel*

Untitled; Jim-as-Sam/Al, Sam-as-Jim/Blair, Jim/Blair; rated NC-17:  You know the drill - Sam leaps into Jim; goes bat-shit because of Jim's senses, saves the day, and leaps out again.  Of course this time, someone figures out that Sam is there, and Al gets a little from the soul in the visitors room...

Quantum Leap

Oh, Boy!; Sam/Al; rated NC-17: Sam jumps into Al's best friend, and finds out that Al is the reason for the military's policy of 'don't ask, don't tell.'

ST: Voyager

Terra Renova; Tu/K; not rated yet:  A follow-up to "Middle Ground" -- Harry has left Julian on Cardassia, and made his way to Vulcan, where he finds a surprise.

Untitled; EMH/7, K/EMH/7; not rated yet:  Jealous and hurt that Seven didn't chose him when learning how to date, Harry is surprised to find out why.  And yes, this one is what it looks like - the pairing (grouping?) is not a typo.

ST: The Next Generation

When I Knew I Loved You...; Data/Yar; rated R:  Being the romantic sap that I am, I was immediately struck with this when I re-watched "Generations" - if Data is replaying everything that happened to him before he installed the emotion chip, what will happen when he gets to the time when he and Tasha were intimate?

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace

A Kiss Is Just A Kiss; Q/O; not rated yet:  Drunkeness leads to a kiss which is taken the right way, but isn't meant to be.  Confused?  Yeah, so am I.  Stay tuned to see if it works out.

Untitled; Q/f, Q/O; rated R-ish?:  This is something that I've been thinking of forever - if Anakin is an only child, who is Beru (or Owen, but I'm going with Beru as Luke's blood-relative)?  A what-if story -- Qui knows that he's taking Ani away, so he gambles on being able to remove both Ani and Shmi from slavery.  To help Shmi get over the loss of Ani, Qui makes love to her, and gives her another child...hmmm.  Just scribbles at this point, but something that I've been pondering for quite some time...

Macross Plus

Autoerotica; Ayame/Sharon Apple; rated NC-17:  For the FCanon list - Sharon shows her creator how to have a good time.  This will be my first official f/f story... <g>

dueSouth

What He Needs; Fraser/RayK; R-ish:  I've been thinking about Fraser, and his inability to articulate what he *needs*....
