1.  All written works, art, etc., must feature Garak and/or Bashir - together, separate, whatever.  Stories with other pairings will be accepted, if the main focus of the story is Garak and Bashir, together.  (ex: G/B, K/O;  G/B/m) Other stories will be accepted at the editor's discretion.

2.  All works submitted to SFOP must be original works, not previously posted or published to the internet.  This includes personal websites, mailing lists and newsgroups.  The only exceptions are beta-reader mailing lists, and personal correspondence between authors and beta-readers.

3.  Submissions of stories and/or artwork that have previously appeared in print 'zines will be accepted, so long as the exclusivity of the print 'zine has expired.

4.  SFOP retains the exclusive right to archive all submissions for a period of two (2) months.  This means that submissions may not be placed on personal websites, mailing lists or newsgroups until the two (2) month period is up.  There are no exceptions to this rule.

5. After exclusivity has expired, SFOP retains the right to archive art and fiction.  At this time, the author/artist may also post works to the 'Net at large, including personal websites, mailing lists and newsgroups.

6.  Written works submitted to SFOP must be beta-read, spell-checked and relatively free of grammar problems.  If you do not have a beta reader, please indicate that when submitting written works, and the editor will forward a list of names, if necessary.   The editor retains the right to correct spelling, punctuation and grammar errors, without question.  Please make a note of any deliberate errors, etc.  If you want me to beta-read your story, please have it to me at least fifteen (15) days prior to the deadline.

7.  All works of fiction require a rating.  If you are unsure of how to rate something, please make a note of it, and a rating will be assigned.  169ers, poetry and other short works are exempt from this rule, as are illustrations and artwork.  If you wish to rate an exempt work, that is fine.

8.  Submissions will only be accepted at the following addresses: gblvr@strangefits.com and/or treklover@rocketmail.com.   If possible, please send artwork as an attached file.  Written works will be accepted as attachments or in the body of an email; Word or text files are best, but other file types can be accomodated.
